Hey! (self.zoophilia)

I've been meaning to make a reddit account for ages so I could post here, finally decided to get off my ass and do it. I've been lurking for a while.

I'm terrible at intros oops so I'm gonna just kinda modify the post I made on knotty.

I figured out I was zoo around 12 or 13ish, I'm almost 19 now. I'm not zoo-exclusive and I'm bisexual with both animals and people. I like a LOT of different species and the list seems to keep growing, but I like dogs the best so far. I like cats a lot too, but that's mostly romantic. One of my cats I'm considering my almost-kinda-sorta animal partner? I don't know if I want to call her that yet but. I have a lot of pets and I want to work with animals as a career, hopefully reptiles.

I was in a pretty bad place of self-hate with my zoosexuality earlier this year, but I started a zoo tumblr blog and I'm doing a lot better since I've met so many nice people on there. Lately I'm trying to gather as many scientific studies/articles about zoophilia that I can, so uneducated people can get the facts and other zoos can learn more if they want to. It's been really reassuring to me personally to see facts and statistics about it. I guess it helps me feel better about being zoosexual, like it's kind of a reminder that it's an actual thing and I'm not a freak? I still struggle with doubt sometimes but it's gotten so much better.

My tumblr is here, if you want to see the resources I've gathered so far or say hey. It was posted here on the subreddit recently too!
