Please keep in mind the commentary is the OPs own. A little porn heavy but each site might have it's merits.

I found a new reddit-like site yesterday called http://voat.co/ . It's basically a reddit knockoff, even cloned from the same source. No zoo community yet. But it's newer, there are a lot fewer people, and as such, it seems to have none of the downsides that reddit's community has (like groupthink, brigading, corrupt mods, etc). And the site founder claims that the site is totally privacy and free speech focused. If anyone wanted to start a new zoophilia sub over there, it would probably be a great place.

But right now I'm enjoying this sub a lot :)

Anyone want to share their favorite non-reddit zoo sites here? I checked out knotty.me and it seems okay.

Tundrovvy was looking for a possible alternative to reddit once it eventually goes down the drain (already on the way down as-is). Voat might be good.

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of warning signs with reddit.

First, reddit is still not profitable, even after operating for over 6 years. Reddit's owners may soon become desperate for money, which means they may begin making questionable ethical decisions in pursuit of profit.

Second, reddit's CEO Yishan recently stepped down, without much advance warning. Sudden shake-ups at the top of a company's power structure are usually not a good sign.

Third, you've got classic community problems, like heavy politicization of the default subs, intense pressure to conform to the hivemind's opinion, crazy social justice activists, and corrupt, activist, and inconsistent moderators who condone all of this stuff in order to stay in power (the problem with reddit's mods has become embarrassingly obvious ever since the gamergate controversy started). And I'm not sure if you've noticed, but some of the default subs actually gray out the "unsubscribe" button to make it harder to find (two examples are /r/space and /r/fitness). This is an intentional, underhanded design choice, intended to keep people subscribed to the default subs and artificially inflate the subscriber numbers for those subs.

Fourth, reddit recently announced that they're going to donate 10% of ad revenue to charity. Donating money to charities is good, but only when you actually have money to donate - and reddit is still not profitable. To me, this reeks of either a shady way to move cash out of reddit before the whole ship sinks, or a desperate PR move to bring more advertisers on board (which I doubt will work). Either way, it will make it that much harder for reddit to become profitable. Meanwhile, the pressure to reach profitability will only increase, as reddit's creditors demand to know why one out of every 10 dollars they're owed is being given away. And all this will only exacerbate the problems that come with being chronically unprofitable.

Anyway, voat may or may not be the answer, but I thought I'd bring it up so we can at least have it as an option.

I've made a subverse; I'm sorry for not responding earlier but I didn't see your comment until it was pointed out to me by someone else.

Thank you so much for the suggestion. :D

No problem! Have you checked out the rest of the site at all? I haven't, actually, I've been busy with other stuff.

This is more 'State of the net - Bestiality Porn'.

To an extent. The thing of it is how many sites do you know that don't do porno? They did include at least two non-porn sites. I'd like to see a list of other two way communication sites.

Anyone know of other sites?
