One aspect thatʼs notably missing from Dolphin Lover is input from a psychologist, who might explain whether dolphins can consent to sex, experience orgasms, or feel sad enough over a "breakup" that they'd end their lives.
I'm sorry, but what does a psychologist known about dolphin physiology?

I think the quoted one mixed up behavior analyst with psychologist.
Btw. as I talked to one the recent days, I maybe bring in some scientific Statements. at first consents: A Dolphin is so much muscular all over his/her Body so doing something out of consent will result in at least a nosepoke that easily could broke some rips.
Having intercourse with a female wouldn't be possible without consent for example, because (to my knowledge) the vaginal muscles are that strong you wouldn't even enter a finger.
Experience Orgasams: That one for sure can be confirmed. since the late 80s it is scientifically approved that a lot of animals experiences Orgasms. Ask yourself why not, and keep the evolutionary advantage of one in mind.
Feeling sad or committing even suicide: Dolphins as afaik all wales need to remind themselves in breathing (see the Flipper TV-Series for example). Feeling sad and mourn about the lost of a community member is well documented.

Probably not much, except ones with a DVM/VMD (UPenn) or PhD in a animal related field.

They put an over-18 gatekeeper in front of the article ?! WTF is that? Further trying to sensationalize as much as possible? Or are there now the same check-boxes in front of news articles when the Catholic Church once again takes herding of the sheep to a whole other level?

I did not see that when I checked a few minutes ago and when I checked 3 hours ago. At least it is not a paygate.
As for "sheep" there are ALOT of sheep/shepherd references in the bible. When you said "to a whole other level", I thought at first glance you meant sex with sheep (the big ones, or just oral).

While I personally talk a lot, the person in this documentary walks the talk, and is a lot braver then me.

And more importantly, it's not our self-proclaimed and "slightly" unstable mascot Spink.
