As a zoosexual: where should I try to live? (self.zoophilia)
submitted 2015-02-25 19:44:06 by DerErzbaronGomez You and me, baby ain't nothing but mammals

I have a serious problem for affecting my future life: First of all I am a horse zoo and I have a human boyfriend too. We are both from Germany where zoosexual contacts are forbidden and do not have the chance of living with horses easily, I mean noone owns a farm or something like that. With that in mind we wanted to decide to move to Denmark where we should have enough space and were not criminalized. But as it tends to be that way that Denmark is following the anti-zoophilia hype too we must overthink our plan, we just don't know what to do. Finland may be an option too (or any other country where it is allowed) but of course we can't know if this state stays this way. For information: We both are around 20 years old so we are pretty young and have many options open. My question to you people is what you would do in our place. Do you have any experience yourself in that manner? Did you stay where you were or did you try a big step forward and moved somewhere else?

I've been so afraid of acting illegally, I've still not done anything. I'd been planning to move to Denmark for the last 16 years, just to have a place with people open-minded enough for me to be totally out of the closet.

As you've noticed, that didn't work out, so I can't really give you good advice.

I hope you realise that legality =/= social acceptance, though. There isn't a country in the world where you can be openly zoo and not risk your livelihood. I don't think you should fear breaking an unjust law - after all, love comes first, and it's not your fault that your sexuality is illegal. Stay safe and you can love as you wish.

DerErzbaronGomez 3 points on 2015-02-25 20:43:02

I know that you don't get social acceptance through legality but it clearly helped me a lot back then in Germany when it was allowed staying cool for me. Since the ban I am getting really insecure mosty because in discussions about the whole topic I made insinuations that I am zoosexual and since then some people somehow don't like me anymore and are rather aggressive towards me.

I feel for you on that. There was a guy who I slept with who asked me outright if I was a zoo right after I came. Since then he's talked to me about ever more extreme forms of BDSM, but at the same time become ever less willing to even discuss zoo.

I gave up on the guy when he was openly disguised that I would show him a ζ pendant, right after he told me about his latest escapade and while he was himself wearing a very visible padlocked chain around his neck.

It's how I'd seen Denmark. When I was growing up, there was a documentary about sex education throughout Europe. The scandinavian clip was a teacher asking her students if they'd seen anyone do something with an animal, and one of the students said yes, they'd seen a woman strip naked and dance around a horse.

The main problem with chasing legality is that you don't know where it will be made illegal next. Instead, I would opt to move somewhere with a low population density and where land prices are relatively inexpensive. If you and your boyfriend lived on 100 hectares, for example, who is going to know that you're having sex with your horses when there's nobody around to see?

If you are determined to live somewhere in Europe that it is legal, I believe that Russia shows no inclination to criminalise bestiality, and as a country with vast quantities of inexpensive land and arguably less propensity for flying drones in the future than the affluent EU countries, I would not rule it out as an option. I quite like Russia and find it fascinating (though I realise I am very much in the minority here); if you do too, it may be a worthy consideration.

DerErzbaronGomez 4 points on 2015-02-25 21:05:30

I find Russia fascinating too but I am a bit scared of what the media here is telling me about Russia. It nearly always looks like the most fascist country in the world with pauperism. Anyways that won't matter that much if we got enough space to do our activities. I just find it hard to live in a rural area and have a well-paid job because I am quite good at engineering stuff and my bf is more the economics type. That was the idea behind Denmark: Having a rural life and being able to get a job you studied for. But anyway, thanks for your reply.

I'm pretty sure Putin would unhesitatingly illegalize it if there was a big media frenzy about it there.

But for some reason I doubt such a thing would happen. And Putin almost certainly does not care enough to illegalize it otherwise.

Yeah don't come to Finland.

As zoophilia was decriminalized in 1971, actions falling under that definition would most likely still be judged by the courts as a animal welfare offense falling under Criminal law chapter 17, 14 § - 15 § depending on the severity. Punishment can be anything from fines in the case of a minor offense up to a minimum of 4 months and a maximum of 4 years in prison.

By Criminal law Chapter 17, 18 § creating, selling, renting, offering or making available, importing or exporting pictures or video recordings depicting zoophilia is to be judged from spreading a picture offending sexual morals by fines or up to a prison sentence maximum of 2 years.

We're very by the book in here and the judicial process is a bureaucratic process. If proven guilty you will be judged as it stands by the letter of the law.

But if I suggest a country, doesn't that make it the next best candidate for "animal sex tourism" too?

DerErzbaronGomez 2 points on 2015-02-26 05:38:15

Only if the anti-zoos are reading this thread.

Let's fuck with them:

I heard the Vatican is a really good place to travel to as a tourist, if you know what I mean...

I am pretty sure there is some kinky stuff going on there.

doghumper 5 points on 2015-02-25 22:23:14

Stay in Germany, just keep your heads down. As long as you don't openly produce porn, blog about your zoophilia using your real names or participate in zoophilia rallies, you won't be on anyones radar. The bestiality ban is just there to make the animal rights activists shut up, very few countries actively search for an prosecute zoophiles. I'd only be worried in the United Kingdoms, they are becoming extremely and scarily totalitarian about sex.

Life is pretty expensive here and you don't have guaranteed money income here either. Buying land here is not easy for us as we are both not rich but we aren't poor either way. Having enough land like Tundrovyy recommended is pretty hard to realize.

There are many regions in the US where you can buy land for pennies on the dollar. Those areas dont have police patrolling every day and your neighbors are a half mile away. I would recommend that you and your partner become educated in a specialized occupation that doesn't require close proximity to a city. Your occupation is the setup for everything you do.

DerErzbaronGomez 1 point on 2015-02-26 19:19:16

Yeah, we see that as an optional thing too but on the other side we are kind of "scared" of the american society in general. I don't know how to describe it but as we are Europeans, I don't know, the US seem weird often. That doesn't mean you can a pretty nice living there though.

FunFriendly 1 point on 2015-02-26 19:46:27

Yeah, but enforcement varies widely. You won't find many modernized countries that are accepting of this.

The only place you can truly be open about this would be in South America, maybe Brazil? Do you speak Portuguese and enjoy monster sized mosquitoes?

Good luck with your search.

DerErzbaronGomez 1 point on 2015-02-26 19:55:29

Mosquitoes aren't the problem for me. Speaking Portuguese on the other hand...

It is not quite as easy to lay low with a horse, but I plan to move out to the Western United States and get a little forested plot of land for my canine mate and I. Somewhere near enough to the city but far enough that I have some seclusion. I do technology stuff so I may have the chance to work remotely(fingers crossed) so I don't have to go into town so much. Not that I am a recluse, but I just obviously like to spend time with my dog. Not a lot of workplaces are pet friendly, but I think it will work out for me. I still have a couple years until that will be financially feasible though.

Live anywhere you want. Just never tell anyone about your zoophila.

As long as you do your thing in your barn, in your home, in private and away from prying eyes, you'll be fine.
