Thank you!! It took a lot of time but I had a blast doing it and I hope everyone else enjoys seeing the results.

I see a few... ehm... interesting answers under the section: "What species of animal(s) have you had sexual contact with?" I'm curious how One could have sex with:

  • lizards
  • squirrels
  • rabbits
  • raccoons

And I found these answers under multiple sections. So if you were who have posted it before please tell us the story behind it. :)

I was wondering about those, too! (Especially the lizard person, honestly, since I'm attracted to lizards myself.) I would guess masturbation?? But I guess we never know for sure unless they tell us, haha. I do remember one post I saw on ZF from someone who would give his rabbit lover "bunnylingus!"

I've posted a vid some time ago about a guy who got a bj from a large snake. And of course there are a few vids about reptiles (honestly you can count them with one hand) all around the 'Ye Olde' internet, but I would like to hear One's story about the specific experience with that reptile :)

zootrashcan doggy doodle dandy 3 points on 2015-03-23 22:21:21

My understanding is that a lot of reptile acts can be really harmful. Like penetration isn't possible without injuring them, and inserting them in a butt or vagina can kill them. The ones which aren't harmful involve stuff like just having a snake crawl on a person's junk. Not sure about stimulation of a reptile penis, but if it involves restraining the animal to get it to expose the peen, it's probably not practical.

Battlecrops dogs, cats, snakes, ungulates 4 points on 2015-03-23 22:36:33

I've heard the same thing about both reptiles and birds- that the potential for harm is very high, since their anatomy is so different and isn't really compatible. I saw a video a while back of a man with a very large female snake (Burmese python) and she didn't seem to really care one way or the other, but she wasn't acting distressed or in pain either. I guess reptiles that large might be less risky, but I'd imagine the person would have to know the individual animal very well and have good knowledge about how their reproductive system works.

I think with reptiles I'd be concerned about the risk of transmitting salmonella, since most reptiles often carry the bacteria in their feces, and to "get to the goods" you have to go through the cloaca which is the same place waste comes out. With most male reptiles I think you can expose the hemipenes pretty easily, breeders and vets do it routinely, but I don't know anything about actual stimulation.

I can't imagine oral from a snake, with all those big teeth that point backwards and are designed to hook into things! Yikes!!

zootrashcan doggy doodle dandy 2 points on 2015-03-24 02:40:44

Yeah, I can't imagine it's safe even for a large snake. Bp's hemipenes are around the size of an adult human finger and humans are, on average, longer and thicker. Salmonella and gram negative bacteria are a risk for humans, and oral sounds... unpleasant. XD Not to mention you'd have to stimulate regurgitation, not terribly pleasant.

It's great to see this complete, thank you so much for your time and dedication.

Also, thank you for the kind words. I was glad to have the opportunity to help. You deserve the largest commendation, of course; well done!

Glad to finally see the results! There's still some parts I need to read (like the really long open-ended answers, just skimmed over them) but this is all very fascinating.

Thanks!

(All the images are broken for me, but looking at the server response messages I'm seeing, I guess I need to be logged into tumblr to see them…)

zetaverein 1 point on 2015-03-23 13:31:03

the images are not working, even after logging in

Battlecrops dogs, cats, snakes, ungulates 2 points on 2015-03-23 22:24:44

I uploaded all the images to Imgur and replaced them in the post, they should be working now.

Battlecrops dogs, cats, snakes, ungulates 3 points on 2015-03-23 15:11:14

The images were broken for a while earlier last night, too. I think it was a glitch with tumblr, they should be back up now. If they aren't up for you let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it.

AliasTheReindeerPone Short Christmas Horse 1 point on 2015-03-23 21:13:32

The miscellaneous results certainly look interesting, but I'm afraid to say that the images are down for me as well. Would it be possible to rehost them to imgur?

Battlecrops dogs, cats, snakes, ungulates 3 points on 2015-03-23 22:25:00

Done, they're all on Imgur and replaced in the post. Should be working now.

Thank you much, it's nice to see this type of information, especially considering how hard it is to come by.

There's a lot of food for thought in there, although one thing in particular that stood out to me is the incredibly even distribution between bi, hetero, homo, and other when it comes to sexual orientation towards humans. For such a small minority, we're quite the diverse group.

Also, it restores a little faith to see that almost everyone who was in a long term sexual relationship with an animal was also in a long term romantic relationship with an animal. It's one of those cases where self selection bias is heartwarming more than anything.

zoozooz 1 point on 2015-03-24 09:07:16

that almost everyone who was in a long term sexual relationship with an animal was also in a long term romantic relationship with an animal.

I think you accidentally a word.

8 vegans?

We can do better than that :P

Come on step it up ;)

Very interesting. I noticed a few "No possible way animals can consent" "It's always animal abuse" answers. Several interesting answers around the LGBT comparison. I'm personally unhappy with a lot of the answers on marriage, but people want what they want.

LosskerThrowaway 2 points on 2015-03-23 19:14:56

Hm, I really liked the answers, actually, after thinking about it. People made a reasoned difference what marriage would be for, making a comparison if it is for symbolism (rather useless, well...) from the religious range to something state-appointed that rather comes with special dispensations like e.g. visiting rights (ok, that's for gay people in the hospital, couldn't think of an excellent example). But then they argued that one would typically own the animal already etc... I enjoyed reading all that, overall. Had my mind cleared out.

Yearningmice 1 point on 2015-03-23 20:15:18

Hmm, i was reacting to the bandwagon gays get "marriage rights" so we should too. Since no one here is a mind reader, i probably should have said so in the first place. Sorry, and good points.

LosskerThrowaway 2 points on 2015-03-23 20:25:34

Well that I noticed too. At that point I realized that even a supposedly general and basic concept as marriage can be hugely loaded and heavily contexted based on where you live. For a lot of Americans marriage rights and who gets it and who not and what it means - I guess - is a giant political topic. Like, hey, I can't be true red and not make a note on implications for or from gay marriage here. For someone who was never engulfed in that political clash of the century it might be weird seeing people to chisel away on such fine nuances.

actuallynotazoophile ok, I lied 3 points on 2015-03-23 15:59:43

oh very cool. some really surprising answers in there. I thought it was fascinating how almost everyone figured out they were attracted to animals by the time they were 25.

The image server is blocking proxies.

Battlecrops dogs, cats, snakes, ungulates 1 point on 2015-03-23 22:24:30

I uploaded all the images to Imgur and replaced them in the post, they should be working now.

Battlecrops dogs, cats, snakes, ungulates 2 points on 2015-03-23 21:18:08

Re: images not showing up: That sucks, I dunno why they're working for some people and not for others, proxy or not. I uploaded them directly to tumblr on the post so it shouldn't be having problems. I'll upload them to Imgur in a few minutes and replace them all, sorry about that. I'll get it done ASAP.

EDIT: I uploaded all images to Imgur and replaced them in the tumblr posts. If anyone notices any errors let me know. Sorry about that, I don't know why they kept messing up!

jrbobdobbs90 1 point on 2015-03-23 21:46:08

You think you could upload the raw data somewhere, maybe as a CSV or spreadsheet? I'd like to do some of my own ad-hoc analysis.

Battlecrops dogs, cats, snakes, ungulates 3 points on 2015-03-23 22:42:00

I was thinking about this when the results first closed actually, lots of people wanted to help me sort the data and were asking about getting it raw in a spreadsheet. I talked about it with a few people and thought about it and decided that's probably not a good idea. I said in the initial survey that the data would be kept private except for being formatted for results. Even though I said the answers would be published, I don't think sharing the raw info is what a lot of people who filled it out would have in mind. I wouldn't want to do anything that would make anyone who answered uncomfortable or disrespect their privacy. Does that make sense?

jrbobdobbs90 1 point on 2015-03-23 22:50:05

Yes, I understand. It's disappointing, though. I was hoping to learn a lot more from this data. :(

throwawayaccountzeta 2 points on 2015-03-24 09:33:50

i posted the result for the lizards go ahead and ask away

as to the few that posted a few questions was masturbation and penetration not going into details on species of reptile as that can narrow owners down suffice to say they are one of the large breed of lizard belonging to the family Teiidae

yes penetration can be harmful to a reptile if its not of sufficient size i have never harmed a reptile as i make sure there not experiencing any discomfort.

i have never had any issues with catching Salmonella from lizards but i have got it from turtles salmonella seems to be more rampant in reptiles that eat more greens. i will admit im pretty bad at remembering if at all to wash my hands, and i always clean there food and water dishes in the kitchen sink so i should have gotten salmonella by now.

"not saying you cant get it but i have never gotten it from lizards"

lizards can be masturbated by rubbing near the cloaca and there back near the start of there tail the cloaca will become loose if your menstruation's worked or your stressing out your lizard if it defecates.

i recommend not doing anything with a lizard unless its a large breed and you can read there bodily expressions VARY VARY WELL.
