A Word Of Caution About BeastForum (self.zoophilia)
submitted 2015-03-30 20:08:05 by ryartran

So, as a person who has recently come to terms with their Zoophilia, I decided that I wanted to join what I thought would be a community that would allow me to talk about my sexuality and not be judged.

Oh how wrong I was.

While many people on there were nice and nurturing, I was singled out by a moderator out of the blue and banned. I received an e-mail with a PM from said moderator. He had said, "bye again"

I was utterly confounded, I had never even so much as visited the site until last week! How was I banned from the site even though I was just starting to post? I had read all the rules, and followed them to a T.

Why was this happening to me?

I submitted a trouble ticket, explaining my predicament, and I was met with my concerns not being addressed! Not only could I not logout of my account, I couldn't even unsubscribe from e-mail updates!

I'm planning on finding a way to contact the site admin about this, not only was it a blatant abuse of power, the moderator clearly did not do his research into my account.

If anybody could help, that would be amazing!

Sorry about the ranty post, I just don't want anybody else to go through what I did.

tl;dr Banned for a case of mistaken identity, tried to resolve it and got nowhere

In case anybody wants to know, my Username on there was Bill Nye The Russian Spy

Edit: I want to thank everyone for commenting! I won't be going back. I will definitely be staying here and hanging out!

Sorry to hear about that. I've been over there for about 8 years. The moderators try to weed out the scammers and trolls as much as possible. It sounds like they got it wrong in your case. You can hang out here with us, its more fun here anyway.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

BF, ZF and those forums still live in 2004.

They banned you by IP or username. Make another one with new IP and profile and pretend it never happened. You need a VPN.

ryartran 1 point on 2015-03-30 22:20:52

But should I even bother? I never logged in from anything other than my mobile phone, and I know for a fact my IP wasn't banned.

Are they worth my time?

[deleted] 3 points on 2015-03-30 22:36:21

BF is for tutorials and sex Q&A, local hookups, porn (at extra cost) and forum spam games. Your time.

zoozooz 4 points on 2015-03-30 22:53:23

That's a topic of opinion. I for one don't really think it's a place for animal lovers. E.g. look at their porn section. Everything is praised over the top, as long as it is not hard abuse. Even if it's borderline abuse. No, I have no examples at hand, just my old impression.

There are some people who clearly care for animals, but I don't see the majority there that way.

So no, I personally wouldn't bother.

ursusem 3 points on 2015-03-30 23:22:31

I don't really like BeastForum either for a lot of the same reasons.

doghumper 4 points on 2015-03-30 22:38:22

The only reason to be on BF is to download porn, don't look for a community there. The discussion threads they have are pretty depressing, most of it is of the "the last one to post in this thread wins" variety.

The entire site is indexed by google and you can't edit or delete anything. Some people make the mistake of using the same username as they use elsewhere and the moderators don't give a shit about that either. I have a feeling they enjoy watching naive people get outed :(

I wouldn't bother making a new account, you can get more porn at the beasttracker torrent site anyway.

ryartran 1 point on 2015-03-30 22:41:13

Thanks for your insight! I'll definitely take your advice into account!

most of it is of the "the last one to post in this thread wins" variety.

Man, this is a serious pet peeve of mine. I just don't get the point of those threads. thats why I like it here, we don't have any of that stuff.

[deleted] 2 points on 2015-03-31 08:15:02

Yeah the porn is reposted everywhere. If you don't pay the credits come too slow.

The other reason to use BF is risky local hookups. For people who want face to face without waiting 3 years. There's nowhere else unless you ditch your pride and go full furry.

If you want more of a "community" type forum, Knotty (linked in the sidebar) is nice. I'm not too active there but I've heard good things about Zoophilesforum as well; it's bigger than Knotty.

btwIAMAzoophile Dogs are cute. 3 points on 2015-03-30 23:56:27

I second http://forum.knotty.me

I have met a lot of great people there and we have had a lot more thoughtful discussion than most of the likes seen on BF. They make me feel more like a rational, intelligent human being than a sex-driven deviant, like BF tends to portray.

Sapphire_seam Equus 3 points on 2015-03-31 05:38:03

BF is run by money loving tyrants. I would strongly advise against using it.

throw_a_zoo 4 points on 2015-03-31 06:06:55

And here I thought you would warn people (for those that still didn't get that message) about BF's policy to subscribe the copyright of everything you upload to their page to themselves. And use it in their vast network of cash-generating webpages. Their largest asset in this ever is their quasi-monopoly on the porn supply nowadays.

Someone already said that BF is also fully google-indexed. Oh my.

The real reason that makes it a nasty place to me is that you can't post much outside of the stupid game-threads. You'll either get into ferocious arguments, meet people "you are not sure about" (as BF welcomes all animallovers), or get banned by a moderator because he can.

BF is not a community, it's a warez porn board that accidentally exploded in size and that has a meetup section for god knows what reasoning. In other places the mods warn you immediately if you might even come in sight of revealing your data from own ineptness. At BF (in my very personal opinion, others are available) some people amongst the staff can't give a toss about you, and more, they might even swat you if you annoyed them too much in their money spinning activities. God help naive sign-ups there who are also computer-inept about their personal data.

zoophilesforum tends to get a bad rap. not sure why. knotty.me is highly recommended. if i had more time i'd check it out, but between here and zf... shrug there's also zoobb. not sure what the opinion is on that place. i started posting there a year ago and just didn't have the time to keep up.

ZoroasterTheCat 2 points on 2015-03-31 13:19:01

Do you have links to any of your posts, or even the post in question that got you banned? I searched for your name but can't get it to come up.

The mods there are well known for being tyrants and assholes. I browse the site there and keep my mouth shut. If it's worth noting, the local regional threads seem to be much less heavily moderated like say for "Chicago" or "Boise" or whatever your local area is. Of course, they get much less traffic as well.

If you can, try contacting the mod about what happened, and try contacting a different mod about it. Deerhunter and Southflorida are the ones you see pop up in all the threads, all the time. Maybe try contacting them about it.

If it doesn't work out, just make another profile, and keep your head down. I've been banned from there as well.

ryartran 1 point on 2015-03-31 13:30:04

SouthFlorida banned me, like I said, he messaged me saying "bye again" and I was banned, at least I think I was.

I posted in the TV Show thread on the general forum, I only had about 20 posts before it happened

The trouble ticket system said they can't get me in contact with anyone who can negotiate this.

ZoroasterTheCat 2 points on 2015-03-31 13:54:10

So you cannot even log in to message Southflorida directly? If that's the case, I would just say fuck it and make another account. It sounds like a case of mistaken identity, I can't imagine why he would have banned you without seeing the thread in question.

ryartran 1 point on 2015-03-31 14:21:50

I mean, half of my posts were in game threads, and my moat recent one was in the TV thread about shows on BBC America and SyFy

ZoroasterTheCat 2 points on 2015-03-31 14:33:39

Yeah, it's probably nothing you did; maybe your user name was close to another user who was banned previously. Who knows. Don't stress over it. Just get another email and make a new account.

ryartran 1 point on 2015-03-31 14:38:57

I mean, should I bother? The forum still uses file splitters for videos and stuff, if anything, I'd just use it for advice on stuff, which I can get here anyway. (I still need to sign up for beasttracker or something, I can't remember the name)

ZoroasterTheCat 1 point on 2015-03-31 15:49:13

It's your decision if you should bother. They have the largest community by far, but lately activity seems to be low. You could try knotty.me as others have suggested.

ryartran 1 point on 2015-03-31 16:01:16

I will, and thanks for talking with me about this, It helps.

ZoroasterTheCat 1 point on 2015-03-31 16:22:34

Yeah, it's hard, but don't take it personally. They're just assholes.

Crazy_ManMan Not a zoo, but a friend. 2 points on 2015-04-01 03:57:10

I went to that site to learn more about zoophiles, got banned on my first post for a minor infraction, found there was no repeal process. Never going back, too many crappy forums out there that do not know how to run their forum respectably.

Omochanoshi At her Majesty Mare service 1 point on 2015-04-02 16:43:56

BeastForum is a full shitty forum.

And they steal user upload contents to sell it.

[deleted] 1 point on 2015-06-12 21:25:38

I just left Beastfourm because I cannot deal with it. Most of the rules there are just extremely ridiculous and a lot of people get banned for the dumbest things. The moderators are very insensitive and rude towards other people's opinions as well especially with mine.

On one thread me and a few people where talking about how much we don't like the liars that come onto Beastforum pretending to be a certain gender and how dangerous it was and a moderator told us to stop whining and it's no one's but our fault that we let these things happen.

The zoos there also discriminate on other zoos just because of a specific animal species some are attractive to. I'm attractive to a variety of exotic animals and had talked about being with a porcupine etc. and all those people did was joke and made ridicule comments about my preference and attraction. It's like you can only be accepted in a zoophile community if you only like dogs and/or horses.

Not everyone there was rude but there was enough to make any zoo not want to feel part of a zoo community anymore

I wish I can find a better zoophile community then Beastfourm. Because that was ridicules and did nothing but stress me out.
