Long term Relationship with female dog?? (self.zoophilia)
submitted 2015-04-03 06:34:18 by zoosd

I'm deciding to come to terms with the fact that I find dogs to be very attractive creatures. I've been fantasizing about finding a beautiful girl since a young age and having her spend her life with me... Holding her every night and making sweet love when she decides to accept me that way. I am really only attracted to big dogs and don't want to love more that one. Haha I found the silver wolf and tippy stories and that's like my dream. anyone got any candid comments and personal experiences so I can know if this kind of thing is really possible or not? Favorite breeds? I'm thinking a golden. I saw a female golden on a hike when I was 16 and she was probably the most beautiful creature I have ever seen... That's when I really knew for sure I was attracted to dogs. Anyways thanks guys

First off, I'll join everyone else in saying: awww! That's adorable, really. I love reading sappy romantic zoo stuff like this, it's so sweet and it reminds me of my own animal partners. :3

I think a golden is a great idea for a first dog. Nice medium size. Generally very friendly and affectionate. They're willing to play and be active, but don't demand a huge amount of exercise. Their grooming needs aren't too extreme either, they just need brushing and other basic stuff.

Does that sound like a good fit for you? Zoo or not, I always recommend for people to do research and ask questions before taking on a dog. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

I think it matters less about the breed and more about just making sure you take time to find the right dog. Don't go jumping on the first one you see; make sure their personality clicks with yours. I never expected getting a husky let alone a neutered dog in general. But he is perfect for me.

Thanks guys lol. Also actually thinking about getting a puppy at the shelter and raising her. Don't care too much about breed as long as she'll be bigger obviously. Wise? I also like the idea of sorta rescuing a dog from being put down or something, gaining her trust, then being life long companions. Yeah sappy I know but I'm quite seriously hahahaa

Well, the thing about rescue dogs... pretty much all shelters require the animals to be spayed or neutered, sometimes even very young puppies. (If you live in the US anyway. Might be different in other places.)

Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but it's something to keep in mind if you want to be sexual with your future dog. You may have to look around more, maybe even go to a breeder, if you want one that's intact.
