I already have had some horses (one right now, I jump her at Arab shows- she's a lovely fleabitten grey) but they were all mares- I'm not really interested in them sexually. Maybe sometime in the future a small stallion, but most likely a dog.

Yeah, I've been married for a while and you need to talk talk talk, as I'm sure you know, about your feelings and ask him about his feelings. Doing that makes him know he's important to you and lets you tell him what else is also important to you.
I'm curious, he sent a link to a horse dildo but does he seriously think you want to get down and dirty or does he think it is a fantasy you can role play? By your story it seems that you may not know for sure how he feels but I'm glad you think it is all positive!

He was mostly just kidding around, but we have definitely been doing the talk-talk-talk thing and he actually seems quite interested in it. At first he was a little confused but now he understands (mostly) and we've even discussed my animal crushes and such. At first he thought it was more of a fetish but, he does seem to have a good grasp on it now. I've answered all the questions he had and fortunately he didn't have a single problem with anything :D
