Are there any female zoophiles on here? (self.zoophilia)

I ask because I'm female and I'm just curious. I get the feeling that most of you are male although I surely can't see you all.

I would like to see this sexuality be equally represented ya know...

Unfortunately, what studies we have show about a 2:1 ratio. Still, more representation would be nice.

There are a lot of female zoos. I personally am genderqueer/fluid but am dfab.

The apparent majority of zoophiles are male, but whether this is true to life or not is debatable. It's perfectly possible there is a similar number of female zoos to male, but they are less likely to disclose it and/or less likely to participate in communities that get surveyed. There are also a number who attempt to join zoo communities but get chased off by inappropriate behavior, unfortunately. I'm not sure they'd self identify as zoophiles after that.

I am AFAB, but identify as agender.

According to a recent study, female zoophiles outnumber males at 3% of the population vs 2.2%

This paper was about fantasies, not actions. I wouldn't call all of the women or men who have such fantasies zoophiles (though that is a significant component), because we don't know how many have any desire to make such fantasies real. I do think female zoos are underreported and underrepresented in the community, but I'd need more than this to begin thinking that their numbers are actually about equal.

Just saw this post. I'm late to the party as usual, but wanted to say hi.

I'm not active or anything but I had a canine lover when I was young and still find certain dogs and wolves very attractive, so I suppose that makes me still a zoophile by definition.

I lurk here often to see what people are talking about but rarely speak up. This has been a very respectful and pleasant sub so far. I avoid the animal porn subs like the plague, but do enjoy some of the content at /r/animalromance :)

I will agree with you that this is a nice sub. I don't like the porn ones. I mean, I'm a real person with real problems, a real life and real emotions so I feel like bestiality pornography does not describe my feelings or my life very closely at all.
