Kreft is also required to live with his parents, but must follow all of their rules and leave their residence if asked.

Ooooo. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Gotta love when a newspaper replaces "bestiality" with the porno style "beastiality" spelling. Credible publication here folks!

But seriously, this is a really light sentence overall. Some places this would be a felony, they just basically said "listen to your folks kid, and we'll drop most of the charges..."

The pot seemed to be the biggest issue. If this was say, Washington, they'd basically lock him away for at least 10 years for the bestiality and he'd get away scot free on the pot charge...

Anyone else find that interesting?

That was interesting on how they dropped everything but the pot charge. I hope this sets a precedent.

I don't know, 17 weeks in jail, waiting for your court date doesn't seem quick. Also the police searching his house after he was arrested with just a pipe and suspiciously dressed, that doesn't seem like it's worthy of a search warrant for his residence.

Edit, I would say his being in the barn would be the biggest issue since it doesn't sound like he was on his own property. I just can't see the correlation of being picked up and the B&E, weed pipe and being suspect in how he is dressing makes it relevant for a judge to okay a search of this guys house.

It would be one thing if the guy was dressed suspiciously with a concealed weapon and talking about doing something crazy to a public figure or any individual. Talking about watching porn and having a pot pipe though? Seems kind of like 17 weeks is a bit much

17 weeks in jail for a court date is not unusual if you can't (or won't) make bail, and is certainly light for a bestiality charge on it's own in most places.

What do you mean saying who was this clown? You're acting like we would know him. Why should we know him? He's a random dude.

This isn't to answer your question, but actually, it's a small world, and quite a few who end up in the spotlight had forum accounts on beastforum, etc. Sometimes the articles fall just short of linking to their profiles.

This is often the exception rather than the rule from what I've seen... Though it does occasionally happen.
