Bit off topic, but I had a bit of a giggle just now. Was looking back through some very old posts I made with my (now unused) main account. I used to posts some photos of my dogs on there which Reddit received quite well. I never was too involved with subreddits at that time so I never really remembered people's usernames, let alone read them.
Well. Now, a few years later, I do recognise a couple of names. Especially from this corner of the web. I was quite surprised to see names I recognise pop up as comments on my older posts, lol! They used to struck me as funny but never thought must of it. I wasn't even a zoo at that time. But now that I'm here I suddenly completely get the original motive of the comments. If only I knew or even had stalked through some post histories of some users. If only... lol.
That stuff can stick around forever. I never remember what I wrote years ago but I run into it. Some of it was atrocious. Some more creative than what I write now.
I was browsing an old forum I used to enjoy. I completely forgot it had at least two guys who openly said they fucked dogs. I didn't care much at the time. One got AIDS and vanished and the other killed himself.
Everything in life is temporary. Except what you post on the internet.
