I took it to mean partners in general as well, but as /u/ulungu pointed out, to a zoo exclusive many of these questions were irrelevant at best. I ended up dropping the survey. For a while I tried to roll with it like you did, but it occurred to me that by the time I could explain how I'm interested in animals, the data they're after would already be severely skewed by the irrelevant questions.
For a study about fantasies, you'd think they would have more "other" boxes.

Did anyone find this odd that they even had a question about whether you have had fantasies about animals? Because it seems like bestiality is very scoffed and disregarded and forgotten (as if absolutely no one takes it seriously). That's so surprising, then, that it would even be included/mentioned.
