Miniature ponies. Reduces the risk of dying in a 100% horsecock related manslaughter.

I'm not really fond of horses. Their personalities bother me.

They're assholes.

Not all ponies are assholes. It’s the people who train them to be assholes that are the real assholes.

I meant horses, I don't really know anything about typical pony behavior. It's just that they seem really aggressive and angry. I mean, this is how they act when they first meet each other. I know that's perfectly normal and healthy in the horse world, but it seems threatening and unwelcoming by my own standards. I guess that's why I'm kind of scared of them. I'm scared that a horse will try to introduce itself to me like that, and it will punch me so hard that I die.

Horses typically don't act like that toward humans. What you see in the video is just typical herd behavior to see who is going to be the leader. Horses are always testing each other to see where their place is in the herd's pecking order. Most horses are VERY friendly towards humans.

I know that it's an irrational fear and that most horses don't interact with humans exactly like they interact with other horses. I want to get desensitization therapy at some point. It really irritates me that I chicken out whenever I have an opportunity to pet a horse.

I wonder why they are friendly with humans.

Because they are properly trained from a young age.

This question is similarly stupid as asking what kind of woman is the "best" lover, blonde, brown or black. Only people without any actual experience and bragging virgins would reduce a personality to one simple detail like color of hair or species. Every animal is an individual; I´ve seen horse mares being a complete bitch, I´ve seen donkey mares , usually said to be stubborn and "unreachable" being gentle and open, I´ve seen pony mares usually referred to as gentle being plain assholes. It depends on the individual: It always takes TWO to have a party...or a fight. If personalities don´t match, you´ll have a bad time, regardless of species. If it fits, you´ll gonna have the time of your life, regardless of species. `Nuff said...

It always takes TWO to have a party...or a fight.

Uh.

Are you trying to sound like a rapist dick?

Because you do.

EDIT: I just can't imagine a situation where I might confuse partying with fighting.

Most of my experience involves female horses, but over the years I’ve gotten to know a number of different species in the equidae family. Personally, I haven’t met an equine who wasn’t a pretty incredible lover when things got to that point. That said, from my experience the personality of the individual rather than the species, will determine how spectacular they are as a lover/companion. Sexually, mares, jennets, mollies, and zebra mares are almost identical to one another. There are slight differences in their anatomy that can affect their feel during intimacy, but most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Again, what really sets one apart from another is their personality, and their desire to have a human as a sexual partner. I am a huge fan of long eared equines (donkeys and mules) for this reason. I’ve been around enough long ears to say that they are definitely the nymphos of the equidae family. Mules are probably my favorite over all, but to say one is truly better than another is impossible.

When it comes to male equines, my preference is definitely miniatures horses and ponies. There is nothing better than letting a stallion make you his mare, and being able to let him breed naturally. It’s very difficult to let a full-sized stallion mount up naturally and still keep things safe. Donkeys, mules, and zebras are a little too well endowed (length wise), and it can be a pain in the butt when they get that flare too deep.
