Arousal doesn't necessarily mean attraction, it can definitely occur with minimal stimulation to your genitals, so yes, that can be a normal non-zoophilic response. Zoophilia is specifically being attracted to animals. If you're not attracted to animals, it's not zoophilia.

Okay. Define attraction though? Like I don't think dogs are sexy, cute maybe but I definitely would be opposed to bestiality (read:sexual touching) and I definitely don't go out looking for dogs or fantasize about them. I get that there can be
a sort of psycho-sexual element to zoophilia.

To be a zoophilia in the clinical definition, you really need a sexual attraction to animals. This doesn't count as that, IMO.
