this bothers me. reddit was the one public space i could be talk about zoophilia and stuff and feel comfortable and not hated (at least not as much as in other places. now i believe this is going to end...

And it doesn't matter that they're quarantined. It just means that people who aren't subscribed have an extra step between themselves and animal porn.
You obviously can still talk about zoophilia here and not be hated. Hell, even the quarantined subs haven't really changed.

Just be glad that you still can get to your beloved masturbational support films in here. Personally, I wouldn´t care much if the said subreddits were completely deleted because of porn. Even if reddit chose to delete these subs, hell, man, if you can´t find animal porn outside of reddit, then you probably shouldn´t use a computer anyway...;) Now having ONE MORE CLICK between you and your favorite smut film genre is a really big nuisance...not....grow up, dude.

Maybe it doesn't even say that. I just realized I'm not subscribed, and I never have any trouble with it.

Well even if it does get quarantined, just set up a sockpuppet mail account like @mail.com. It's not that big a deal.
Notice how the subreddits where the talking happens (i.e. this one) are not quarantined. Only the porn subreddits.
And I don't really care. The porn in these subreddits was rarely any good. People often linked to these subreddits and if this was the first impression many people got of the topic I'm actually glad that they don't see it now.
You know what's funny? /r/bestiality is still untouched even though that sub has more people who see sex with animals as "degrading".
It never got the attention that SWD got, though. People would throw that sub around in AskReddit for shock value, so more people knew about it.

Because they like to imagine themselves being degraded or to see other people be degraded. I remember there being a post in the sub which said something like "does anyone else watch this stuff even though they aren't attracted to animals?", and the top response was something like "yes, I watch it because I like the thought of being degraded".

What does the quarantine mean exactly? I haven't figured that out yet. I've been gone a few months and now I'm back and posting to several "quarantined" forums and nothing seems different to me.
