Sounds good to me.

I like it, particularly if the answers are well-sourced. I might suggest, however, that someone here plays devil's advocate, in order to avoid strawmanning the arguments. For example, if I were a neutral party, and I saw an FAQ with phrases like "How can you want to have sex with puppies? They're so adorable, rapist!", I might doubt that the arguments are being taken seriously even in refutation.

I volunteer for this, if necessary, since I've read and looked into some of the more serious sources for many of these arguments (Piers Beirne and Carol Adams, in particular).

Sure, I bet you could find a lot of people interested in contributing:

  1. arguments
  2. rebuttals, and
  3. peer review (devil's advocacy) ... though I think it could turn into a pretty messy thread to do it all at once in open air so to speak. Maybe one reply per argument and then string related comments off the reply?

I think there was an effort to do something like that on knotty, which is loosely coupled to the sub, and even moderated by a few of the same people. Might ask there too.

That's what I was hoping for, actually.
