Findings like these are considered quite groundbreaking, because so little is known about positive emotions in animals.
This is a nice nugget in the article. I haven't had a chance to read the science yet, but I'm glad that some attention is being paid to understanding how non-humans can express being happy and content rather than all the negative emotions.
