Because Beastforum and Knotty.me don't exist, evidently.

No. No you cannot. And nobody in their right mind would volunteer.

And your book wouldn't have any credibility with only anonymous sources. (Why? Well, if you don't know, then perhaps the fact that I've shoved myself hip deep in a giraffe may enlighten you.)

Welcome to the problems of persecuted groups. Pedophilia is a big one right now for groups they're struggling to understand (and probably more vital for social wellness, really - if we understood them, maybe we could prevent them from creating victims and oops we're out of time).

I can't fathom what the problem is, other than excessive cranial density.

So you're talking about fiction? Are you sure you're unable to make an account? Do you not have an email?

Beastforum

It's nice to pretend that shithole doesn't.

Finding garbage on BF is like shooting fish in the barrel. The last time I was on there out of morbid curiosity, I decided to see how fast it would take me to find an awful post and on the second page of the first thread I clicked on was someone comparing a dog to a vacuum cleaner, coming to the conclusion that you can't ever rape a dog.

Nope. I feel proper research, such as done by Miletski and other people in relevant fields, is much better than books based on a random subreddit.

I have sometimes pondered the possibility of writing fiction with a zoophile character, just throwing it in without having the story to be about zoophilia, and not including any animal sex in it either. Just mentioning it in a passing to see how people would react to that.

Sorry, I have a few objections.

Do you have any writing experience? Do you have any real understanding of zoosexuality outside of childhood experiences and what you've seen and read on the onion network (the character of which, I feel, is highly suspect)? I feel that anyone writing about anything zoo for public consumption needs to have much knowledge, skill, and tact in handling the issue. Can we be confident that you will be a good ambassador for us?

Also if you are as paranoid as you claim, do you really want to do something like this at all? Do you really want to put your name out there attached to such a piece of writing? Won't this screw with you and make you feel more vulnerable?

I am not one to shit in my own nest, so I'm not going to misrepresent anyone or ven provide obvious links to individual zoos.

Your intentions may be good, but if something like this is not handled well, it may backfire, and we may suffer for it. Hence why I'm very cautious.

The guy who walked on to Jerry Springer claiming his pony was his wife was a zoo with good intentions. The circumstances turned him into the equivalent of a sideshow freak at a carnival. Not good.

Now, as I'm understanding it, this is something for distribution on the internet, not something you're intending on publishing in hardcopy. That does change things a little. As does the intent of the piece. Is it going to be a serious portrait of a few (fictionalized) zoos and their relationships and lifestyles? Or is it going to be more sexualized?

He was/is the host of an exploitative talk show that, on its surface, pretends to be a venue for resolving family and relationship issues. The reality is that the show is all about shock value for the audience, taking advantage of people who came on the show naively looking for conflict resolution.

That zoo, whether through arrogance or ignorance, went to that show to demonstrate that zoos were good people...he tried to be a public ambassador for us. You can guess how that turned out.

I believe that this effect is the reason that many zoos will not allow their experiences to be intentionally broadcast at large, even anonymously, and especially by people who they were just introduced to over the internet a few days ago.

Anyway, I can't stop you, but I really encourage you to get your house in order, learn more about zoosexuality, and be more of a trusted presence in the community (for what community exists) before writing a book. Especially one where you're attempting to make a serious portrayal of zoos and their lives.

##Some questions:

  • Who would the audience of the book be?
  • What would the topic of the book be? (biology, taboo, community)
  • Why are you choosing the posts from this subreddit? There is honestly not enough to go on.
  • What is the purpose of writing this book? Descriptive, persuasive? (I hardly doubt you can persuade many people on this topic.)

##Somethings to consider

I would like to refer you to the furry fandom's interaction with the media, primarily interviews. Some were mild, most caused problems, and a few, like MTV's Sex2K, were downright horrible. This would be a disaster.

There are differences between zoophilia and the furry fandom. One big difference being that one is illegal (zoophilia) and the other is not. If a source gets caught, it could mean about 15 years in prison (Michigan). This is serious.

##A better place for information

  • http://www.zeta-verein.de/ -- This is a zoophilia advocacy group in Germany; however, you will find many more resources and willing people to help you write your book. They even have video interviews.

Why ZETA and their infos offered should be approached with maximum caution:

https://www.beastforum.com/showtopic-230582-15.html

Starting at my (GH) reply from february, 2nd, ZETA´s mask was ripped off...they should rather call themselves BETA, Bestialists Encouraging Trespassing on Animals

The weird things is that I don't trust beastforum.com. I'd take ZETA with a grain of salt, though.

I´m totally with you on that...still, the discussion I´ve linked to is totally worth reading. I have trust issues with BF myself, but unless you put selfmade porn online, there´s basically nothing anyone can get you into trouble for. Just stay away from the porn section.....;)

Gays are held by society in better esteem than zoos are presently at this moment in history. It would be more okay to make light of gays right now than of zoos.

You´ve come a long way from "Oooh, I fuck animals, but have religios and moral issues with it" to "Well, buddy, I can use you in whatever way I want" in practically no time...you really have issues, mate; and having (or rather fantasizing about) sex with animals isn´t one of the bigger ones...shrugs I bet you really bathe in the attention you´re given at the moment...go on, tell bogus stories, threaten us with your book project, it´s kinda entertaining how you blow your own trustworthyness and reputation to smithereens. Self deconstruction is an art...not reached the master level yet, dude, but you´re pretty close...
