Subreddits shut down? (self.zoophilia)

With all this BS with porn/nudity subs being shut down, underage stuff, political nonsense, etc (most of which and more I'm completely ignorant about) it seems all bestiality and related subs were shut down. What's going on?

The servers are in cali. All that shit is illegal in cali. When we do illegal things and the media finds out reddit pulls it.

What happened illegal?

The literal definition of underage is under the age of consent. Aka child porn. And bestiality is still illegal in most of america

And porn and discussion of it is still legal in most of America, which is precisely what happens on reddit.

Your point?

Isn't privet ownership of Bestiality porn legal in most places in the us. ?

Aside from the virgin islands, and oregon right.

CuriousKitten92 -2 points on 2016-04-14 21:13:00

No. Videos of doing something in a state that is illegal is just as illegal. Like you can't take videos of you murdering someone or raping a kid, then its called evidence.

Murdering people and raping kids is illegal everywhere in the US, As is viewing child pornography, as of snuff films videos I'm really not sure, what you said was silly.

You are legally allowd to own and vew bestiality porn everywhere in the US aside from Oregon and the Virgin isl, You cannot make Beastiality porn in California but you can own and vew the porn made in places such as hawaii or wyoming.

Wow, no, that's not true at all. Let me pick this apart.

  1. Videos of illegal actions are not, in and of themselves, necessarily illegal. A video of a person committing theft, for instance, is perfectly legal. It may be used as evidence of the crime, but this does not make the video itself illegal. (A video of a murder, as you mention in your post, is likely to be entirely legal -- albeit in poor taste -- to own or watch.) Consider security cameras, for instance: operating them and storing the videos they collect is perfectly legal, even though their entire purpose is often to produce evidence of crimes!

  2. Actions which are legal to perform may nevertheless be illegal to create or possess videos or pictures of. For example, it is legal in almost all US states for two 17-year-olds to have sex, but any recording of that act is considered child pornography and is highly illegal.

  3. The legality of producing obscene media is often separate from the legality of owning, distributing, or exhibiting that media. Situations where it is illegal to merely own obscene media are rare, and are generally limited to extreme cases such as child pornography.

Case closed.
