What is r/ZASPA? (self.zoophilia)

The fact that it is a private subreddit has piqued my curiosity. Is it active at all?

Neat find. I like the sound of ZASPA better than other zoo organisation names I've heard. I'd rock a ZASPA tee shirt.

It's all fun and games until someone asks you what ZASPA stands for...

"Er... Zimbabwean Anarcho-Syndicalist Proletariat Association?"

Zealous Armenian Slaughter-Pope Assault.

Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony. Then everything changed when the Armenian Slaughter-Popes attacked.

Well, they've certainly piqued my interest too. Wonder if there's any duplication with r/zooprop ?

(Double kudos if you get that reference :P )

A reference to Atlas Shrugged maybe? lol I'm stretching.

My reference was to the videogame series "Bioshock" It reminded me of a poster found in the game. It has very heavy libertarian political overtones throughout the game.

zetacola + Rum 1 point on 2016-05-20 17:00:19

Yeah, it was Atlas Shrugged. Ayn Rand's philosophy was used extensively to shape the setting of Bioshock.

Ayn Rand = Andrew Ryan

Actually, it's my group. I run several zoo political projects around the net...at least I used to. I have been neglecting them for years on account of trying to figure out some shit about my life, especially since I am not only out online, I am out IRL. It might be active in the future, it may not. I am trying to work on being all inclusive and making this not just about us when being politically active, because I am also transgender and we are going to need allies from other communities if we have any chance at being accepted.
