Are you harming yourself or another? If not, what is there to be upset about? If you aren't harming anything or supporting harm, what exactly are you doing that is wrong and worthy of your comtempt?

I think feelings of shame are pretty common, we live in a society which tells us we are disgusting and it isolates us.

Breaking the law (in some cases), going against one's upbringing, going against society's values in a way that would generate disgust if discovered, to name a few. Objectifying people/animals, if it is truly a fetish. And some porn is "supporting harm," quite frankly.

Not to bag on OP, in fact props to them for being sensitive enough about the subject. It seems really dismissive to me that people in the zoo community so often downplay the significance of fitting in with society's expectations. Unfortunately the world isn't based on what is correct or logical, in all cases.

could you tell us more about what you do and why you feel bad about it? is it only because you look at porn, or are you curious about/aroused about the idea of having sex with an animal?

Tell me, how does that make you feel bad?
I don't see anything wrong with that.

I understand how you feel, I think.. Some of those sites are horrible and I find myself wanting to go back because it turns me on to see it. But I'm just not certain or sure if the people filming are harming or if the website gets paid for bad people to do bad stuff to animals. I dont know what a good website for that is. I believe there is none I think for those who want the animal to not be forced or anything. I hate watching any vids where a dog is either leashed or grabbed by the person it has to be no tugging or touching by the humans at all for me to enjoy it. Because I then know the animal is enjoying themselves. But I do hate myself for watching even those videos.. Cause I just dont know what happens after the filming stops. :( And I have this sense of guilt after getting hot from watching one video. =_= I don't think it will ever go away.

You shouldn't feel awful if you aren't hurting anyone. Why do you think it's wrong?

footdownmil 1 point on 2016-10-25 04:58:25

I know deep down it's wrong too. I've never cared what other people think of it, and it's never been anyone's business. Still, it's something that I personally know that I do not want to be a part of. I wish I could go back in time and change the things that I think resulted in this "kink". I want to love and be with my spouse the way he deserves. I don't want any part of this. I'm still fighting it.

I have never hates myself. I can't really understand why somebody would hate himself, so I offer very bad advice on the subject.

I discovered I was a zoo once I fell in love to a mare. I tried to deny it to myself and to discard such ideas as some sort of fantasy for a few days. One day I masturbated thinking of her, I accepted what I was and moved on without a second thought.

As I have suggested on other thread, the point in life is not being perfect, it is knowing how to deal with your issues and limitations. A lot of frustration comes from trying to be something you are not and you can't change. The good mindset is "Ok, so I am a zoophile. What do I do now?"

Self-hate does not seem to be bringing anything good to the table.
