What happened to them? (self.zoophilia)

I know this is kind of off-topic, but they were regular posters who just disappeared without a trace.

Mmmm?
Also, didn't huskyencroacher also have another deleted account named 'ZetaCola'?
I think I've also seen other accounts get deleted, not sure who they were, though.

Maybe they just moved on. Some day I will delete my account I dont know when but someday.

Rannoch2002 Deer Zoo 2 points on 2016-12-20 00:00:00

I honestly don't get why people do this. Why not just leave? Deleting an account deletes posts too, you know. It makes things confusing.

I understand it when people want to delete their account, including their posts. You never know who will stumble upon your name and postings in the future. Just take a look at Beastforum and how they deal with account deletions....they never delete an account unless there are very good reasons...for BF, not for the user! There were several trials against "zoophiles" where the post history of Beastforum was used as evidence against the user involved and I really prefer some confusion and inconvenience reading through a thread with some deleted posts over this sub becoming a pool of evidence for the authorities to easily tap in when a user gets caught, his home raided and his computer taken...if he forgot to log out before the raid , anything he typed in here is first hand evidence against him.

Even if a large number of this sub´s users would decide to delete their entire accounts, making comprehension of most threads impossible, this is way better than the other option...especially when you realize how many self proclaimed zoophiles of today are only living through a short phase of interest in zoophilia, being able to delete can and probably will save some marriages in the future.

"Honey, I just found some old posts from you, saying that you´ve fucked several animals! " ...usually, conversations starting with this don´t go well in most of the cases....

One should never underestimate the possibilities the internet gives to ruin other people´s lives...and your own, too. Being able to delete everything you´ve ever posted in here isn´t an option I´d use because I stand for what I´ve written, but being able to push the "reset" button whenever it becomes necessary is something I very much appreciate.

Yeah, I second this. Granted, I'm also an exception as my relation to this group is much more utilitarian and research oriented, but even if my parents decided to come to my home and snoop one day with this open, that would not be a happy experience. That, and while I try to keep this username separate from my other aliases, you can never know sometimes.

Rannoch2002 Deer Zoo 1 point on 2016-12-20 23:25:12

I'm asking more in relation to those who don't have their online zoo identity compromised, but fair enough.

AmoreBestia Pro-zoophile, non-zoophile. 1 point on 2016-12-21 15:35:57

Well, compromised or not, there are a number of tells that can tip people off if they know you and happen across this community. Maybe you talk about something they know about you, or maybe they've been writing you on skype or what have you long enough to know some of your more distinct writing habits. It's not likely, but the risk isn't worth it to some people. Other times, it could be trying to avoid temptation, for the ones that can't seem to walk away.

I can say I have quited many online services because they changed their terms of service and I didn't agree with the new ones anymore. You may be happy with how example.org manages user data, then be unhappy after they tell you that they are going to share it with advertisers, and then remove yourself from the site before the terms apply because you don't want to accept the new conditions. Internet would be better if more people did this.

There is people who wants to withdraw their support from a certain board ("The webmaster is funding a campaign against the capitalist gay muslims, so I don't want my name to be ever asociated with his site") and there is just people who wants to delete things they have said because their own words are dangerous to them.

I don't think this necessarily applies to the Reddit users being talked about, but it comes to demonstrate that there are actual reasons for deleting an account on an Internet board.

For the record: the oldest forum protocol still in use, nntp/Usenet, has EVERY content published on it expire after certain time has passed. This was done in order to prevent old messages from overloading the server's storage in the early days, but it had the advantage of granting that nothing was eternal on the newsgroups.

Edog91 1 point on 2016-12-21 03:30:59

For me its a protective habit, why leave loose ends? Just like animal porn I don't want any form of evidence available for the police, or anybody to find. But let me say no one is after me I am just being safe.

Rannoch2002 Deer Zoo 1 point on 2016-12-21 07:05:44

I guess I'm odd in that I stopped caring about what other people thought long ago. Probably a luxury of not doing anything illegal anymore, of course.

Edog91 1 point on 2016-12-21 22:17:53

It's not what people think its about what they can do. And no its not odd when people with little or nothing to lose don't care about things that wont effect them.

Rannoch2002 Deer Zoo 1 point on 2016-12-22 03:29:39

Yeah, I get that now. Thanks for clarifying. Sometimes my own worldview blinds me a bit.

baptized-in-fire 1 point on 2016-12-22 17:04:26

Account deactivation doesn't automatically delete posts. It just scrubs the username so outsiders can't link those posts together easily anymore (they'd have to have cached/saved the username link page while it was active).

IAmAZoophile 3 points on 2016-12-19 21:42:01

Uh. I think it's best that we respect people's desires to walk away from the community or present themselves differently.

I was probably being too paranoid again like always, but I honestly thought that they were banned from Reddit.
And of course, that's their decision.

Battlecrops cat kisser extraordinaire 2 points on 2016-12-19 21:56:57

Aw, I'll miss seeing them around. Pluto was another cat zoo :( That sucks too that when accounts are deleted so are all their comments.

britishdragon01 2 points on 2016-12-20 23:41:09

YO! Feline zoos represent!

Rannoch2002 Deer Zoo 1 point on 2016-12-19 23:58:36

Yes, and he deleted his ZetaCola account himself when he thought he was leaving before, only to come back. He probably did it again.

Silverpluto had a prior account he self deleted too. Is there supposed to be some kind of conspiracy here, or am I missing something?

actuallynotazoophile ok, I lied 1 point on 2016-12-20 18:47:46

people either realising they aren't a zoo or still in denial about being a zoo.

To disappear is a choice we all should understand and respect.
Some of us are too far exposed, and depends of country and personnal situation, it can become very dangerous in a very short period of time.

FuzzyFundamentFondle zetacola 6 points on 2016-12-21 05:00:32

Wow, I'm flattered that there are people here who actually give a fuck about me.

I'm leaving because it just isn't healthy for me to participate in the community. I get jealous, I get depressed, I get insecure and do and say weird things. I did it again just recently. I lashed out against a newcomer for no reason. Truth is I am really not well and coming here doesn't help me at all. I was aware of that already a few months ago but for some reason I came back. I really don't plan to do so this time.

I'm not coming back here until I at least get a companion of my own.

Battlecrops cat kisser extraordinaire 6 points on 2016-12-21 06:08:56

Good luck man, I totally understand where you're coming from. Hope things get better for you.

I know you and I didn't always get along, but I really wish you nothing but the best and hope you find your inner peace.

Good luck. May your future be filled with happiness.

I was just concerned and curious.
Your situation sounds almost exactly like mine.
Well eh, good luck in the future, then.
