I hike with my dogs, bike, run, camp, take them everywhere I travel, go to the park, just all sorts of typical dog stuff. They get the full dog experience lol. As for bedroom activities, they are both male so I bottom for them in various ways(oral, handies, doggy style no need for nitty gritty lol). Sexual activity is just a 20 minute slot(if it even happens) throughout a typical day.

I'm male. I couldn't gauge exactly how common it could be, but talking to people in the gay community experimentation with animals at the very least seems to be not-too-uncommon. I wouldn't say all of those people share the same sort of relationship and care that I do with my dogs though, which is totally fine given they have proper care.

I have many pets, most of which I am not sexually interested in. Of course, I still love them and they love me back.
I do all the regular things dog owners do with my dogs. Mostly walking and playing with dog toys, and cuddling every now and then. I have lots of dogs and each one needs attention. It can be very demanding.
I have horses, but I don't have them work nor do I involve myself in horseback riding. I actually got my horses because they needed an owner and were headed towards a dark future if they didn't get one. I spend a lot of time with them, grooming, playfully bitting them, taking them to new pastures, that sort of thing. My horses are not very demanding, they are easy to make happy. Just the fact I am near them doing the barn chores is enough for them to feel that I am paying them attention.
I occasionally have sex with some female horses, but it is pretty rare. It is a very small part of our relationship.

We go hiking, swimming, fetch, snuggling, etc. Anything in which I can include the dogs is great.
With one of the dogs I play "pickup" in which an item is selected for her to find and retrieve. I.e, keys, toys, pencils/pens, rags/towels, tools, money (bills, change is hard to grab). Anything she can manage to pickup, which is a lot.

That is fun. When I was a kid I had a Rottweiler who developed a fine skill for that kind of game. She would understand very complex instructions. "Pick the ball in Frank's bedroom" and such. The problems came when she didn't understand one of the instructions, she would try doing random tricks or bringing random things in order to guess what would satisfy me.
