I rarely remember my dreams.
But I've had a few dreams about my girl...
Sadly, none of them aren't really romantic or erotic.

I can still remember how she got hit by that car mid-air and her body just launched into the bushes, lost forever.
All just to only wake up and realize she was lying next to me, looking at me.
edit: Funny enough, few days after posting this I did have a dream about having a sexy time with my girl...

Dreams like that are the worst! I'm glad to hear that was just a dream though.

Sure I'v had lots of dreams about my boy, None erotic that I can think of, Some nightmares after his death.. the ones I can recal the most sadly enough.

We tend to remember nightmares (and negative things in general) more than the pleasant dreams, it seems. Sorry to hear.

silverwolf-tippysmat 3 points on 2017-02-09 08:20:41

Yes, about all 3 of my past lovers, usually replays of life events with them. I too have nightmares about their deaths btw, especially Ginger who I never got to say goodbye to, and Tippy dying with a puppy on her nipple and kissing me right at the end. Romantic dreams are also common with all three...

Seems like nightmares are just as common as nice dreams in this thread. Sorry for the former, hope you have more of the latter.

BTW, read some of your stuff--great writing!

I once dreamed that a butcher came to my house to claim my mare. I had to battle him with a broadsword and I threw his corpse into the river.

that is an awesome dream!

WarCanine Love knows no boundaries between species or gender 1 point on 2017-02-09 14:06:55

Awesome?
That's horrifying!
I often got these kind of dreams while daydreaming.
They're not fun at all...

tencendur_ Neeeigh 5 points on 2017-02-09 15:15:11

Actually, it was a bit horrorifying while I was having it, but when I woke up I thought that it was just epic.

Sorry you had a nightmare, but dream you was freaking epic!

I have these dreams, always with the dog I used to be very close with, and took care of for 2 years. Most of the times it was being close with her, trying to get closer with her, cuddling and gentle, always want to be more closer to her, and she then gets called away, or things happen and I have to go.

There is always something in my dreams that pull us apart.

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-10 04:11:16

I hope you find someone like her to be close to.

G_Shepherd fluffy wuffy 2 points on 2017-02-11 01:11:53

Yeh, though it will not be the same, the little silly things she did. Am looking at possibilities, but they're limited on dorms.

After my mare´s death, I often relive her last moments in my dreams. In the first few months, waking up soaked in cold sweat, heart heavily pounding, was common...the only thing that helped ease this horror groundhog day scenario was starting to smoke more cannabis and I´m almost back at the same level as in my "most glorious" times. Without my good night joint packed from end to end with good indica, body stone, narcotic weed, I won´t lay my head down. Add the occasional "Hey, human asshole, here´s Morpheus (not Fishburne from The Matrix, but the Greek god of sleep and dreams) speaking, let´s see what happens if I give you the illusion of being an equine" challenge that is especially handy when you get up and realise that you´re not a digitigrade anymore, trip and almost crush a glass door with your face because those human legs work differently regarding balance and you´ll have not exactly lots of fun with dreaming, I can assure you.

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-10 04:13:05

Definitely understand why you need that "nightcap". Sorry Morpheus seems to only want to hurt you. :(

I've had a few dreams similar to yours. They never are erotic, but they definitively are romantic. Often, they are about meeting and falling in love with random, made-up dogs (and rarely wolves, too). Other times, they are about a girl I knew in real life but had to leave behind.

The most intense dream I had of her began with us hiking alone at night in the country side where I grew up. When we reached a grassy secluded area, we lay on the ground face to face and started kissing. After that dream, I understood that I could only ever see her while dreaming, and from then on the dreams became increasingly depressing. The last few times I dreamed of her, I did nothing but hold her close to me and call out her name, and then wake up in tears.

I have a theory dreams are there to compensate for what one is lacking in real life.

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-10 04:14:35

Your theory may be correct. Especially given all the nightmares/dreams of old loves in this thread.

As a teenager, I practiced lucid dreaming. I got quite good at it at the time, being able to control my dreams and having lucid dreams every week.

I of course used this to all sorts of fun and cool stuff, including having erotic dreams. And some of those included dogs.

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-10 04:15:03

Nice. :) I've always thought of looking into lucid dreaming. Is it difficult?

Susitar Canidae 2 points on 2017-02-10 08:13:47

I didn't find it that difficult. But I had some spontaneous lucid dreams before I started to practice it actively.

I used to be on a forum called LD4all, and it helped me. But I haven't been on there for over 5 years, so I don't know if it's still good.

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-11 08:29:10

Good to know. I'll see if that forum's still active. Or there's probably a subreddit for LD if not.

I've only had one that I recall, back when I was in college and had to have my parents watch my dog while away. Kinda awkward because it was a wet dream lol. I didn't realize that part until I'd started walking down to the communal bathrooms to get ready. Nobody else was awake or around at that point though lol.

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-10 04:15:20

LOL, that would have been awkward to explain to your dormmates!

Balto613 2 points on 2017-02-10 13:47:47

Somewhat.

I did have dreams including him previously. Sometimes even now, though not often.

One dream is when I let him out of his cage. He was NEVER allowed to roam free inside, so when I let him out he shot across the room and jumped on the couch. This is where the dream takes a different direction from reality.

In reality I went over, and spoke to him. Memory eludes what I said exactly, but I know it was jest about him being on the couch when he shouldn't even be out, we lie on the floor cuddling with each other until a relative came downstairs and found us sitting on the floor innocently.

In the dream, I went over and sat down with him. Put a hand over his hind quarters and one on the right side of his neck, you can feel his fur, but it's as though he was a plushie, there's no resistance, no firmness. Whatever I'm not paying attention to, I don't notice isn't there. It's like nothing exists except the floor plan and the furniture of the house. There's no light coming in even though it's noon. And while I'm blissfully holding him, images come to mind. Him barking at me in the basement at the first place I met him; Standing at the bottom of the stairs, ()when he put his paw on the first step, tried and gave up on going up the stairs after me in their second home. Him in the cage at their last home, and at the same property, a time when he reared up onto his hind legs barking. I recall it sounding like "Aroo, roo",.

When I feel like I'm going to start crying, I wake up, can't move for a minute. It's like lucid dreaming, I have to fight to try moving for a second and it gets your heart going. It feels like every time you force open your eyelids, something is forcing them shut, I remember the first time waking up, it was like an epiphany, I said it as I thought of it; If he couldn't even walk up the stairs alone, what's he going through in hell right now?

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-11 08:30:40

Sorry to hear that. Poor pup. :(

WeAreDifferent Canines 2 points on 2017-02-11 01:08:16

I've never had sex with a male dog (besides oral), but I dreamed that I did. My best friend caught me and casually turned around and walked away.

I told her about this dream, and she told me that's exactly what she would really do.

madethisaccount4zoo Lesbian, Questioning Zoo 1 point on 2017-02-11 08:29:44

LOL! At least she would be casual about it!
