Noticed this... (self.zoophilia)

Hi all!

Despite being here awhile, I haven't posted yet, so here goes.

I've been watching the anime Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) for a short while, and I noticed some kind of semi-bestiality going on in episodes (partially) 07 & (mostly) 08.

Here is a link to Episode 08. (This is the dub for conveniences sake)

For those who don't want to watch it, here is a basic synopsis.

A servant from the castle that the main characters visit manages to 'tame' (in loose terms) the demon hound from the surrounding area that has been supposedly terrorizing the locals. It is very obvious that they are in a sexual relationship from the scenes that occur (however they are not NSFW in content), yet the relationship does not appear to be abusive from the glimpses we see in the show.

However, I must state that this is not full-on bestiality due to the fact that the demon hound is able to transform into a humanoid shape, and appears as such for most of the episodes.

I still retain that he is, at least partially, animal though by the fact that:

  • He cannot speak
  • It is qualified that he spends a large amount of time in animal form
  • He acts like a dog (as far as I can tell)

This pretty much sums it up.

I just thought that this was a slightly interesting facet of the show.

Yeah, zoophilia seems to be more common in anything Japanese.
I've told this earlier in another thread, my favorite anime Kekkaishi has a wolf called Madarao ^^^^^I ^^^^^really ^^^^^love ^^^^^him. (can also be seen as a demon hound, as he is actually a demon/ghost/spirit.) which was in love with a human male.
One of the things he said is the quote in my flair.
And that's not everything, there's another ghost wolf which had a thing for human females and fell in love with them.
I've heard of another anime called 'Wolf Children' and I don't think I have to explain what is going on here as the title is self explanatory.
I don't actually know a lot about bestiality laws, but isn't bestiality legal in Japan?
I also remember seeing a lot of zoo art in a Japanese style.
And finally, didn't Pokemon ever hint at zoophilia too?
What you said sure was interesting as I was probably going to watch it at one point. But I stopped watching anime about a year ago, so maybe I'll get back into it.

I believe Japan is one of the few countries with no anti-zoo laws. East Asia tends to not be as anti-zoo as the West, though Thailand made an anti-zoo law in 2014.

7mins is around the time it happens if anyone interested. she literally says 'good boy', it doesnt get more blatant than that lol. ok so watched a bit more and the actual dog form is way too big to be banging her that way. so, she says good boy but this has as much to do with zoophilia as twilight. so watched even more and they do still hint at it lol.

oh man, when she asks if she can visit in the future and he says "you seem to have a talent for wrapping lesser beings around your figure..." oh he knew what she was up to, hahaha amazing. thanks for posting that OP.

Also those english accents are the funniest.
