This isn't really appropriate for /r/finehorses, at least I wasn't going to post any particular picture. I thought it a unique way to look at our animal partners that I hadn't seen before. I've enabled the Strict safe for work 'cause I'm aware you might see something under a horse and I'm just tired of the objectification.

Wow. To me as a professional photographer, the time and effort that this guy has invested in his project for the sole purpose of creating the perfect image is especially fascinating. Indeed, this is an overwhelming example of true commitment to art.

Yeah idk if I'd trust having expensive gear under any normal sheet of glass. The artist is either really dedicated and invested in some special glass or found a way to transport the horses into space.

Nice find! For those who don't want to purchase these, for the medium 42 x 30 you'll be only able to save 1024x1024 sized images by clicking a thumbnail and open image in new tab on the preview image. To save a larger than 1024 image, go to the 100 x 70 section and do the same thing, but be sure to change the 1024x1024 to a larger dimension.

I´ll always prefer the real thing over some images, as "artistic" as they might come across and would never buy one of those.
Hmmm, I really wonder whether the fotographer knows what kind of customers he predominantly attracts with these "under" animal pictures..., ´cause I´ve never met a "normal" horseowner with an urge for an underbelly picture of his/her horse. I guess that´s what you call "special merchandise" for a "special interest group"...;)

In fact, I'd rather say that the target audience of these images are predominantly collectors of art, people who are passionate about horses and photography enthusiasts who esteem the artistic quality and unusual perspective. Despite the fact that the horses' sex organs are visible in most cases, none of the photos seems to have any sexual connotations. Rather, it is the stunning beauty of the images, the well-balanced lighting and the aesthetic postures of the horses which are especially fascinating from a zoophile perspective.

Unusual perspective...sorry, but this made me laugh. ;)
My mare loved having her teats sucked by me as a part of our foreplay, so not so unusual perspective for me ;) (...but ALWAYS clean up the udder, especially between the two teats. Go deep. Seriously. Use a hose with warm water and a good amount of pH neutral soap if you never cleaned her "unusual perspective" before. Smell and smeary,greasy, and sometimes slimy consistence of the "smegma" collected there are horrible. Just smell your fingers after cleaning...this won´t go away easily. Keep the teats clean, your mare will appreciate it. You too when your face is buried in her udder. ;) )
But I can relate to your explanation, although I still don´t understand why someone without our special fixation and without this advanced appreciation for equine bodies should buy one of those pictures. I´d definitely start wondering about someone who has one hanging in his house...;)

I recall the undercat memes that spread like wildfire through the internet. I think it's a similar situation. It's kind of funny and interesting and an unusual perspective itself. I'd actually love an undercat print if I wasn't so stingy because it's amusing.
