I had not seen this article before a few days ago. It didn't look like it was posted here so although not really related to zoophilia, just figured I'd post it as a topic of discussion. It was kinda buried down in another comment chain I posted in and I'm sure I'm not the only one who hasn't previously seen this updated research 👌

Excellent. I thought something like this would work for dogs. Also, the leader of the research team, Alexandra Horowitz, has an excellent pop science book titled "Inside of a Dog" with some fascinating insights from current research. For example, dogs don't appear to show an instinct for heroism or being concerned for their imperiled owners, according to one study.
